There's a Lion in My Cornflakes

New to the Library!

There’s a Lion in my Cornflakes

Robinson, M. (2014). There’s a lion in my cornflakes. New York: Bloombury.

This latest addition to our library is sure to be a hit with the students. There’s a Lion in my Cornflakes tells the story of a brother and sister who order a lion by collecting coupons from cereal boxes. When they finally get their prize in the mail, they are in for a huge surprise. It is not a lion! Several letters, some very angry parents and a change of heart help this set of siblings find the silver lining.

This is picture book would be wonderful for a read aloud. Kids would be actively engaged in making predictions in what would happen next. The illustrations add an extra layer of fun to the story.
